Our website uses cookies to make our offering more user-friendly, effective and safe. A cookie is a small text file that we transmit via our web server to the cookie file of the browser onto your computer’s hard drive. Cookies do not harm your terminal device, they do not contain viruses, trojans or other malware. This permits our website to recognize you as a returning user if a connection is established between our web server and your browser. Cookies help us to determine user frequency and the number of users of our internet pages. The content of the cookies we use is limited to an identification number which does not permit personal identification of the user. The main reason for a cookie is to recognize a returning user of the website.

Our websites use session cookies to optimize user-friendliness. These are temporary cookies that remain in your browser’s cookie file until you leave the website and which are automatically deleted after you leave the website.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. You can, however, configure your browser so that you are notified when cookies are placed on your computer and then decide on a case-by-case basis whether you want to accept them or not, or you can generally reject the acceptance of cookies, or reject acceptance in certain cases and delete the cookies that have already been placed. If cookies are deactivated, however, the functionality of our website may be impaired.

We use Google Analytics of Google Inc. (“Google”) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). The respective legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR.

Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies” which are text files that are stored on your computer. This permits an analysis of your use of our website. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of our website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If you activate the IP anonymization on our website, Google will first shorten (anonymize) your IP address within the EU member states or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google uses this information on our behalf to analyze your use of our website, to put together reports about website activities and to provide additional services to us in relation to website use and internet use. The IP address which is transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with any other Google data.

The data collected as part of Google Analytics is currently automatically erased after 12 months. More information regarding the terms of use and data protection policy of Google Analytics can be found on their website: www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html.

It is possible to prevent cookie storage with a respective browser software setting; in this case, however, you may not be able to use all functions of this website. A further option to prevent the collection and processing of the data generated by the cookie in relation to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) by Google is to download and install the browser plug-in available under this link: (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

Every Adwords customer is given a different cookie so that the cookies cannot be followed by Adwords customers across websites. The purpose of this data processing is to generate conversion statistics.
