Sanomed Breaking Ground to Start Construction of New Site

After one and a half years of intense planning, construction of the new site was set to be kicked off with a ground-breaking ceremony on the 14th of june 2019.

Sanomed successfully purchased a plot of land in the summer of 2017. The construction site sits on12 acres of land, 6 of which will be used by Sanomed. The total investment in this project will be in the tens of millions of Euros.

This construction project helps Sanomed to meet the company’s growth strategy and increased demand. There will be plenty of space for new technologies, further expansion and progress as well as new jobs. All the while, Sanomed is staying true to the region.

What will Sanomed’s new construction look like? The new site in Vöhringen will be a three-part building complex, consisting of an administrative building, a production facility and a warehouse. The buildings will be surrounded by green landscaped areas including an outdoor fitness parkour for the staff.

The administrative building will have spacious offices with lots of natural light and be equipped with ergonomically designed furniture. At the heart of it all is our production hall with its own bottling facilities and the newest technology. In addition, there is plenty of space for research areas and the latest equipment for our in-house laboratory. In short, the basic motto of the new site will be modern technology meets a green new look.

With these new facilities, Sanomed positions itself to meet future customer needs and to continue its positive influence on the market as the leading manufacturer of liquid dietary supplements. This construction project will clear the path to future success, and promote the creation of new jobs in the Vöhringen region.

Sanomed at the Vitafoods 2019

Vitafoods Europe, the leading trade show of the dietary supplements industry, recently opened its doors in Geneva, and we were excited to once again be one of the exhibitors. This annual trade show is considered an absolute industry highlight.

Similarly to 2018, our new booth turned out to be a real eye-catcher with its stunning new design which attracted visitors in high numbers. The clean design perfectly complemented the color palettes of our product areas health, fitness and beauty.

We also introduced our newly developed product concepts from each category. Existing formulations from our standard portfolio were enhanced with additional ingredients in line with the 2019 trends to further highlight our innovative product concepts.

High numbers of visitors, a professional presence, successful meetings and an exceptional team made this show another great success.

We will be back in 2020 and hope to be welcoming you at our booth once again.

Sanomed at the Vitafoods 2017

Another year for Sanomed at the 2017 Vitafoods Europe in Geneva, leading trade show for health products and dietary supplements.

Once again, we participated as a leading contract manufacturer for liquid dietary supplements, balanced diets and beverage concentrates. And just like in previous years, it was a lot of fun and a great experience for the trade fair team.

Offering solutions in the sports and health field is our daily business. This is where we constantly advance in order to offer successful and turnkey product concepts and help customers find their perfect product solution through customized consulting. This year’s fair was the perfect opportunity to present our developments in the beauty field – and a lot has happened here. We successfully presented our innovative turnkey product concepts as well as our know-how in this field, all revolving around the trend ‘Beauty from Within’. A clear eye catcher was our oversize minidrink bottle doubling as a show case for our beauty products – clearly a highlight of our newly designed booth. This was a convincing factor for our numerous prospects as well as our existing customers.

Packed with new impressions, contacts and tasks ahead, Sanomed is already looking forward to the next fair in 2018.

Vitafoods 2013 – Successful presentation of Minidrink and Twist'n Shake

on our new Minidrink and Twist'n Shake system.

Geneva/Switzerland Sanomed's first international trade fair appearance at Vitafoods Europe from May 14th to 16th was an exciting challenge that we mastered with great success.

We showcased our newest products under the slogan "Get into the new mini drink business" – the Sanomed Minidrinks and the Twist’n Shake System – to a very receptive international audience and thus successfully launching the mini drink business.


More than 250 visitors, established customers and new faces, approached our booth for information about the pure white 60ml PET Minidrink bottle, which was exclusively developed for Sanomed and is not available in any catalog.

The bottle impressed our visitors with its unique, sleek and attractive design, and nearly endless design possibilities thanks to modern sleeve technology. And our visitors loved sampling our Sun Protect, Fibre Power, Active Mind, Body Shape and Beauty Booster drinks. Sanomed's Minidrink product also seems to have resonated with consumers – a survey shows: a total of 58% of Vitafoods participants believe that the focus of new products will be on consumers over the age of 50. This is one of the target groups for Sanomed Minidrink, as this bottle's shape and design was specifically developed for the growing demands of the beauty and health market.

The Twist'n Shake system surprised many visitors with its intricate technical design and will "most certainly generate a 'wow effect'" said an excited visitor when speaking with our Head of Marketing after sampling the product. "The trade fair was a great success. The phones in Neu Ulm are ringing off the hook and this was clearly not just because of our red shirts." says Marit Henseleit with a wink. "We were very visible, because we can easily take the years of experience we gained as an established contract manufacturer and give it a twist of innovative spirit. And this is definitely something extraordinary."

More than 12,000 visitors attended the fair and walked around the 9,000 square meter area in search of the perfect idea – and many of them found their customized solution with us.
